Dysautonomia
Dysautonomia simply refers to the dysregulated function of one’s autonomic nervous system.
A specific diagnosis can sometimes accompany this, such as POTS [postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome]. Often times patient experience what are regarded as mysterious symptoms with no known cause and are dismissed. Symptoms like unexplained high heart rate, digestive complaints, shortness of breath, stress, anxiety, and intolerance to heat can be due to dysautonomia.
