Emotional regulation

Our emotions are proteins

This means there is more than one way to provide emotional regulation and often times more than one way is needed.

How to regulate emotions

Specific regions of our brain, mainly our mid brain and mesolimbic structures, take responsibility for emotional regulation or dysregulation. This does not mean that these areas are specifically at fault for everybody’s emotional problems, but that these areas may be the victim of dysregulation occurring elsewhere.

Ways we support

  1. Diet and nutrition

  2. Movement and exercise

  3. Neurological rehabilitation
