Dizziness / vertigo / motion sickness
Dizziness and vertigo affect how we relate to our world and how our world relates to us.
For one reason or another, a sensory mismatch is occurring that interrupts our normal interaction with our world and our world with us. This leads to the altered perception of self-movement and the result is dizziness or vertigo. It is common for nausea and vomiting to accompany these type of complaints because these brainstem structures are in close proximity to our balance centers. Our chiropractic neurologists will examine which brain and brainstem structures may be involved and provide specific care to improve the function of the involved areas.
