Parkinson’s and movement disorders
Our nervous system controls our movement patterns.
Our movement patterns are compiled through sensory input, reflexes, repetition, and cognitive function. When these areas are imbalanced or degenerating the result is an array of movement disorders. Tremors at rest or with movement, changes in muscle tone, shuffling gait, feeling push or pulled while at rest or walking, slow or fast movements, and tics are all examples of symptoms one can experience. When there is too little or too much movement the question is always why? At SCC Neuro, our chiropractic neurologists work to understand the dysfunction and improve movement patterns.
